I think I've Said Happy New Year to everyone I've walked by the past few days! I'm really looking forward to the New Year and can't wait to get started with my Scrapbooking Goals. My first Goal of course is to take part in the Kiwi Lane Designs January 2014 Blog Hop! I guess after I finish my posting and hit the "Publish" button I can cross it off of my list! Before I share my projects that I created for the blog hop I want to remind everyone how this works. So let's get going! :0)
Here's How the Blog Hop Works!!!
Leave a comment on each blog that you visit (make sure you leave one here too) The Blog Hop begins at 8:00 a.m MST on Friday, January 3 and runs through 11:59 PM MST on Sunday, January 5th. To be eligible to win you MUST have your comments posted by 11: 59 PM MST on Sunday January 5th.
One lucky random commenter from one of the 9 blogs will win a $25.00 Gift Certificate to the Kiwi Lane Designs Shop. The Winner of the Gift Certificate will be announced on the Kiwi Lane Blog on Thursday, January 9th. And with that, let's get hopping!

This months features Kiwi Lane Designs Templates are the Chevron, Winter, and Tiny Nature. To be totally honest with you, I LOVE Kiwi Lane's Designer Templates, like many of you do too...but I don't own all of the templates (I know, such a shame!). So I make due with what I have and try to be as creative as I can with what I have. I try and make the templates go as far as I can get them to... So with that I am happy to share with you my projects for the January 2014 Blog Hop.
Project Number 1.
For my first Project I used the Tiny Nature Template Set, Template 5T. I cut three different flowers from the template, inks the edges, and curled each petal. Then I stacked each flower and added a "center" to each flower. The leaves were made using the Tiny Nature Template Set, Template 1T. Each leaf was embosssed and then inked. I LOVE how this project turned out.
Project Number 2.
For this project I used the new Chevron Designer Template Set from Kiwi Lane Designs as well as the Tiny Nature Template Set. I have to tell you that I LOVE the Tiny Nature Set. You can use it on almost every layout! The Arrow is great, and can be used on simple layouts (like this one) or more elaborate ones. And the Leaf Template (Template 1T) can be used for more than just a leaf! For the Chevrons in this layout I chose to use them just as they were. I think they turned out great!
Project Number 3.
A Rose Bouquet. Need I say More? Again for the flowers I used the Tiny Nature Template Set (Templates 6T and 1T). After making this bouquet I REALLY wanted to make another one in a red. But Time got the best of me! Maybe I'll make another one in Red for Valentines Day!
Project Number 4.
This layout is ALL Chevrons. Well...except for the one Arrow that I cut from the Tiny Nature Set. See...I told you the Arrow can be used on ANY layout! For this layout I cut out Chevron Strips using the Designer Templates and then cut along each section. I used each of the three different width templates. In addition to the Chevron Template Set AND the Tiny Nature Set, I decided that it needed something else. So....I added in some of the Paisley Place Borders too.
I hope you enjoyed looking at my projects as much as I enjoyed making them. I also hope that I have given you some scrapbooking ideas and provided a little bit of inspiration for what you too can create with the Kiwi Lane Designer Templates.
Your next stop in the Blog Hop is Julie Ann Cordero's Blog.
Thanks again for stopping by and have a WONDERFUL Day!
