Just a Beautiful Day!

Welcome back to my Blog!

I can't believe that July is almost over! Which also means that summer is almost halfway over too!  (It's going WAY too fast!)

For my second project of July I again used the "Truly Scrumptious" line from The Paper Loft.  Only THIS time I added in some scrap paper from my stash.  I had some really pretty Teresa Collins paper left over from a project and a few scraps of paper from My Mind's Eye.  I thought that the colors were complimentary to those of The Paper Loft so i used them!

Here is the layout that i created:

The "Sun" is actually cut from a Floral Template 1T (I used the Yellow Teresa Collins Paper for this).  Also, one of the clouds (Wacky 2T) was cut from a scrap of My Mind's Eye paper that i had laying around. I also used stickles on each of white dots on the My Mind's Eye paper. (There really is not a good way to photograph stickles, but trust me!  This page looks really pretty in person)

The little bird (Nature 1T)  was also cut from the same paper used for the sun and is actually the leaf Template (Nature 1T) from the Tiny Nature Template Set.  The bird's wing is a Wing from the Butterfly Template (Nature 2T) that is also from the Tiny Nature Template Set.

For the borders of my page I used the Madison Avenue Designer Template set.  I usually combine sets, but this time I stayed with main set.

Just a note!  I love Pop-Dots!  I mean I REALLY love Pop-Dots!  The Sun, the clouds, the bird's wing, the lollipop flowers, the arrow and the title are ALL Pop-Dotted.  Some elements of the page (like the sun and the arrow are actually "Double" Pop-Dotted. Here's what it looks like from a different view:

I like to add gemstones to a LOT of my layouts and since this was a girly layout I had to do it again! I absolutely LOVE the way that this layout turned out and hope that you enjoy it too!

If you'd like to re-create this layout here is a list of the Templates that I used:
Madison Avenue: 2A, 1B, 3B

If you haven't already had the chance, be sure stop by The Paper Loft Blog or stop by and visit their Facebook Page and let them know how much you have enjoyed seeing The Truly Scrumptious Line featured here on my Blog

Thanks for stopping by my Blog to see my latest project!

Have a Beautiful Day!
